Program Dates & Venue 🗓️

Save the date - PyCascades is on for 2023!

PyCascades 2023 will take place on Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th at Simon Fraser University's Harbour Centre (Downtown Vancouver Campus) in the Joseph & Rosalie Segal Centre, and in our remote-only conference event platform, Venueless. We will be sharing more information on the remote/hybrid option when we announce ticket sales.

We'll have an optional social afternoon on Friday, March 17th (location TBA). If you're looking to get started with contributing to open source, you can also join us for mentored sprints! We'll have more details about the program and what to expect in the coming months.

CFP extended deadline to Wednesday, November 30th, 2022.

PyCascades has been lucky to give our stage to incredible speakers with wonderful talks over the last five years. We are really looking forward to showcasing our community again next year. We have extended the deadline for our Call for Proposals, which will close at the end of the day on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 Anywhere on Earth.

We have strived to address all questions or concerns you may have about attendance for PyCascades before submitting your talk submissions and proposals. If you have any questions about the submission process, guidelines, or mentorship for submitting a talk, reach out to program@pycascades.com.

Going Hybrid 🌐

Attend PyCascades as a remote attendee, speaker, or volunteer!

We are including a remote attendance option for those who are not able to or do not wish to attend the conference in person. This will be through Venueless, the virtual conference platform we've used for both 2021 and 2022.

Ticket Sales 🎟️

Keep a lookout later this month for our social / newsletter announcing ticket registrations! Spots will be limited, so be sure to reserve your tickets early.
